For this first course, we actually started with material from an SAP internal two day class room training. We adjusted the format a little and added even more content to it. The result is a fairly deep and comprehensive look at the development activities involved in building SAP HANA Native Applications.

We will start simple with an introduction to the core architecture of SAP HANA and why that should matter to developers. The course then starts with the building of fundamental artifacts like schemas, tables, and other catalog objects. It will also cover HANA Views and SQLScript procedures. We then go onto new capabilities of the SAP HANA Application Services for writing procedural logic in server side JavaScript and creating OData services. We even cover quite a bit about SAPUI5 - particularly consuming HANA services in SAPUI5.
